You might not immediately associate strength training with injury recovery and rehabilitation - but it's an important part of restoring fitness and avoiding injury into the future.
Our personal training partner doesn't just know the theory of strength for injury rehabilitation, each of their specialist trainers has experience at the highest levels. When you trust Movement Clinic to take you down the road to recovery, we'll make sure you reach your destination stronger and healthier than ever before.
Whether you're interested in booking PT sessions now to avoid injury - or you just like the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we take a full wrap-around approach to recovery, you can get in touch today to talk about your condition and hear how we can help.
It's a common misconception that a strength and conditioning coach is someone who will simply help you lift more and build muscle. In fact, strength and conditioning is more about balance, technique, posture, avoiding injury, and developing a healthy physique.
With this in mind, it's more clear how strength and conditioning fits into recovery and rehabilitation. By working closely with your therapy team, your coach will help to bounce back to pre-injury fitness.
What's more, an appropriately accredited personal trainer will look at your unique lifestyle and put together a plan that will focus on eliminating the kinds of weaknesses that have led to injury in the first place.
Busy open gyms aren't for everyone - so if you'd like us to build strength and conditioning training into your recovery plan, all your sessions will be carried out in your own private workout space.
For you, this means no feelings of being overlooked by other gym users, no queuing for machines, and no wiping down equipment before you use it. Instead, you'll have your own dedicated pod with all the world-class equipment you need immediately to hand. You'll even have the option of accessing cutting-edge fitness tech too - from body composition equipment through to lab analysis of your genes, biomarkers, and hormones.
You'll also benefit from the one-to-one attention of a highly experienced trained coach. Every exercise will be carefully monitored to make sure your time is being spent making sure you're stronger and more injury resistant.
When you get in touch to arrange a consultation here at Movement Clinic, we'll start by finding a time that works around your schedule. We work before, during, and after standard work day times - and if that doesn't work for you, we can arrange a weekend appointment.
When you arrive, your consultation will take place in our comfortable treatment room. You'll have the opportunity to discuss your issue with one of our expert therapists and, in turn, they'll ask some questions and discuss their thoughts about the kind of treatment and rehabilitation techniques they think will be most effective.
Ordinarily, we'll be able to start your treatment in the same session - so it's a good idea to come in loose comfortable sports clothing. Don't worry if you've come straight from work - you're welcome to use our private changing area.
